This girl. 😍I am so proud of her.
Val is a talented, hard working actress who I also get to call friend. We met in 2013 when I started working at Hoffman International Model + Talent Agency, where Val also works. Over the years we bonded over castings, talking about The Walking Dead + Bates Motel, and after work dinner dates. Val's eclectic personality, sweet nature and dedication to following her passions are only a few things I admire about her. She is one of my favorite people to talk to and I was ecstatic when she told me she needed new acting head shots. We couldn't stop laughing as we shot around my studio in Olathe. Funny story, before we took the below photo, two guys walked up behind me while I was shooting and asked if my parents were home. With a confused look on my face I asked, "My parents?" With straight faces, they replied, "Yes, can we speak to your parents?" I let out a laugh and said no. 😆 They were lawn care workers and proceeded to ask who took care of the yard and when I said my husband, their eyes lit up. "Can we talk to him?" I said no. I guess they didn't want to talk to me because they gave me a card and left. Whew. They might have been a little sexist but it got them to finally leave so oh well. The whole thing made Val and I laugh even more. 😂
