When Barb + Mike asked me if I was able to take family portraits in their backyard while all of their family flew into town for a wedding, I quickly agreed! Shooting in someone's yard is so personal and intimate. I love the added sentimental aspect of taking photographs of people in their element. Everyone was so sweet and welcoming as we shot outside. The sun was shining as a light breeze fluttered through the trees. It was perfect. Thank you for allowing me to photograph your lovely family!
P.S. Personally, I love the cooler months. Give me snow and I'm one happy lady! Plus I'm blessed to have a studio that I love to use for photo shoots. However, being able to shoot outside in the sunshine is oh so beautiful.
