When April approached me about taking her maternity portraits, I was absolutely ecstatic to capture this special time as she and her husband Lee awaited the arrival of their daughter Addison.
We started shooting in my Olathe, KS studio, and then went to a nearby park.
Can you believe this beautiful landscape is only a few minutes from my house in Olathe?? 😍
I fell in love with this gorgeous yellow hedge and knew the blue gown would look perfect next to it. It turned green a week after our photo shoot, so I am extremely happy we shot when we did! Our timing was also perfect because little Addison arrived much earlier than her due date!
Thank you April and Lee for trusting me to photograph this very important time in your life. You were glowing when we took these photos, and now you are glowing as you hold sweet Addison in your arms. Parenthood looks beautiful on you! ❤️
