colette's library | fiction reads

All of this rainy weather isn't ideal for photo shoots but it is perfect for my introverted self who loves to cozy up on my couch under a soft blanket with a book and cup of hot coffee.

Here is a list of books that I've recently read that I recommend you read if you like fiction. As always, let me your most recent favorite book. I'm always looking for suggestions!

The Hate You Give by Angie Thomas (fiction - young adult)

-I highly recommend this book and the movie was pretty good too.

The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood (fiction)

-I still had a lot of questions after reading this book, so I'm excited to watch the show.

A Simple Favor by Darcey Bell (fiction - thriller)

-I love reading books and then watching the movie and A Simple Favor didn't disappoint.

Bird Box by Josh Malerman (fiction - end of the world suspense)

-Another book/movie duo, and I liked the book better than the movie (per the usual).

Final Girls by Riley Sager (fiction - thriller)

-An exciting thriller about women who are unfortunately members of the Final Girls "club," meaning they were the sole survivor of a terrible crime.

The Last Time I Lied by Riley Sager (fiction - thriller)

-A mysterious thriller about two girls who disappear at a summer camp, and their friend who returns to the camp as an adult to find answers.
