Last month we took a little trip to Las Vegas with our friends Daryn and Hillarie (from Michael's University of Central Oklahoma days). The guys love to play craps and poker and go to the sports books, so they planned this trip while the wives were along for the ride. 😁 Michael and I have been to Vegas several times but we hadn't really ventured past the strip (other than checking out Fremont Street and the Pawn Stars' store on a previous trip). I really wanted to check out more of Vegas so we rented a car and drove to Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area. Getting out in the {windy, chilly} fresh air was everything I needed! There's always something fun to do on the Las Vegas Strip but my camera and I were craving some natural beauty.
We only spent an afternoon in the Red Rock Canyon Area and as you can see we used our time wisely! 😊 Soon we were back on the strip-- eating yummy dinners, playing craps and seeing shows like Cirque du Soleil's 'O' and Penn & Teller.
For us, no trip to Vegas is complete without brunch at Mon Ami Gabi in the Paris Hotel. 😍
